Junior Beginner Rowing |
We cater for ages 11-18 and anyone interested in joining is welcome, with and especially without any rowing experience. If you are interested then please come down to a normal session (Sunday morning 9.30am) and say hello – we will show you round, tell you what you can expect from us, and what you can get out of rowing at the club.
For the water sessions, the club has four training boats with detachable stabilisers for beginners, and as proficiency progresses, there are singles as well as crew boats in which to train and race. Safety boats are on the water to provide safety cover along the river. If sessions can not be run on the water because of inclement water conditions then indoor sessions can be held in club's gym.
Junior membership is £120 per annum.

Recreational Rowing |
This group tends to be adults that are in excess of their thirties; they tend to have raced when they were younger but now row for exercise. Although this group mainly rows on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8:30; they quite often come down to the club to row at quiter times also. This group may also include people who never raced and who have come up through the learners route and just want to potter on the river.
